Where the river meets the mountains

Zamenkomst River Lodge sits on the beautiful Millburn Farm near Maclear, tucked into a landscape of rolling hills and mountain vistas. Just 30 metres from the pristine Pot River, the lodge was designed for families and small groups who want luxury without pretension: a place where you can wake up to the sound of flowing water, spend the day fly fishing or hiking, and end it around the boma with a braai under the stars.

Beyond the river, the farm offers swimming and guided hikes to nearby caves where ancient Khoisan rock art tells the story of this land's first people. Horses are a cherished part of the farm landscape and can often be seen grazing peacefully, but riding is not offered.
